UK energy regulator Ofgem probes claim wind farm operators 'overestimated' output

UK energy regulator Ofgem is investigating allegations that major wind farm owner-operators – including EDF Renewables, Fred Olsen Renewables and Ventient Energy – overestimated the amount of electricity they expected to produce, unnecessarily costing consumers millions of pounds.
