WindEconomics: The added costs for offshore wind developers unique to UK

With a maximum allowed strike price set at £44/MWh, the UK’s latest contracts for difference (CfD) renewables tender attracted no offshore wind bids. So-called option fees introduced in the previous seabed leasing round may have contributed to developers staying away.
