Phil Booker explains the purpose of the oil, saying: 'the objective of the gear oil is to lubricate the gearbox itself, but the idea is to look after the gearbox as an asset and to extend its life as long as possible.'

'Castrol have been in the wind industry since the 80’s' says Daryl. 'We’ve had some trials and tribulations along the way, and some successes. But back then, Castrol primarily took products from other sectors and now we look to design products specifically for the wind business' he explains. 'It's about maintaining the green credentials of the industry' he notes.
